This page explains which cookies and similar techniques (such as local storage) www.hubsnap.nl uses, and how you can control them. The HubSnap app is covered in our Privacy Policy.
Our approach
- Without your consent we only use what the website needs to work.
- Only if you agree, we also use:
- Statistics: Vercel Web Analytics and our own count of App Store / Google Play clicks.
- Advertising measurement: Google Ads.
- These are off until you choose, and the site works the same either way.
- We don't use Google Analytics, Meta or TikTok pixels, Hotjar, Clarity or similar tools.

Invite links (no consent needed)
When you open an invite link (hubsnap.nl/invite/…), the page passes the invite code from the link to our own server (api.hubsnap.nl), so the person who invited you gets credit when you install the app. It uses no cookies or local storage and stores nothing on your device. Whether you viewed the invite page or tapped an App Store or Google Play button there is counted only with your Statistics consent (see below). Retention: [to confirm with the referral backend].

- When you consent, your browser loads Google's tag (googletagmanager.com) and sends Google page views (without the part after "?") and clicks on the App Store / Google Play buttons (also on shared-listing pages). Google receives your IP address, browser details and the page you're on.
- Without consent, Google's tag doesn't load at all.
- Google processes this data under its own terms: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. It may process data in the USA (Privacy Policy, section 8).
Changing your choice
- Use Cookie settings at the bottom of every page to accept or refuse statistics and advertising measurement, or to change your choice later.
- You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings.
- Refusing doesn't affect how the site works.
Donations
On /support you only enter an amount. You then go to the payment page of our payment provider, Mollie, where you pay with iDEAL. Any cookies there are set by Mollie under its own policy (https://www.mollie.com/legal/privacy). See Privacy Policy section 14a.
Hosting
Our hosting provider, Vercel, logs IP addresses and browser details for security and to keep the site running. These logs don't use cookies.
